About Bilcke Electric

Bilcke Electric is a licensed electrical contractor at 40987 Kirkton Rd in Exeter, Ontario. For more than twenty years we have wired homes, farms, and businesses across South Huron and the surrounding country.

In 2022 the company joined the Jayden's Mechanical family. The Bilcke name, the Exeter location, and the licensed crews all continue, now backed by a wider Southwestern Ontario group for parts, crews, and depth.

The Bilcke specialty

Grain elevators, control systems, and farm power

We live and work in the heart of Huron County, and we understand farmers, from a hobby operation to a large commercial one. Bilcke Electric builds and services the grain-handling, control, and power systems that farms run on.

A farm is a hard place for electrical work: dust, moisture, vibration, and heavy seasonal loads, and grain-dryer season does not wait. We wire grain dryers, barns, and shops across South Huron with the rugged, code-correct methods agriculture demands.

Grain-dryer circuits, barn wiring, three-phase, and standby power for South Huron farms.

For farms adding load, a three-phase extension or a phase converter can be the difference between equipment that runs and equipment that trips. We assess the service and run the upgrade once, correctly.

04 There when it matters For outages, arcing, or no-heat calls, 24-hour emergency service gets a licensed electrician out fast.
A new chapter

The same Exeter shop,
a wider family behind it.

In 2022, Bilcke Electric joined the Jayden's Mechanical family. Here is what that means for the customers who have called us for years.

For you, almost nothing changes day to day. The Bilcke name stays. The Exeter location stays. The licensed electricians who know South Huron homes and farms stay. What is new is the backing: a larger Southwestern Ontario group means more crew for peak and emergency calls, more depth behind the work, and access to a wider range of equipment.

The same shop. The same standard. More depth behind it.

If you have called us before, your experience carries on unchanged. If you are new to Bilcke, you get a twenty-year local contractor with the reach of a larger group.

Questions

What South Huron asks us

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Bilcke Electric is a licensed electrical contractor and we pull permits and arrange ESA inspection on the work that requires it. (Exact ECRA/ESA licence number and insurance details to be confirmed and displayed before launch.) We carry the insurance and coverage the work demands.
Do you offer 24-hour emergency electrical service?
Yes. Power out, arcing, burning smell, or a panel failure can not always wait until morning. Call us and we will get a licensed electrician out for emergency calls across Exeter and South Huron, day or night.
Can you do agricultural and three-phase work?
Yes, and it is a specialty. We have built and serviced grain elevators and their control systems across Huron County for years, along with power factor correction, three-phase service, solar, and the service upgrades and standby power farms rely on. We understand operations from a hobby farm to a large commercial one.
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger or heat pump?
Often, yes. A Level 2 EV charger, a heat pump, or a hot tub usually needs a dedicated, correctly sized circuit, and an older 100-amp service may need to come up to 200 amps first. We assess the panel and service before any work starts and tell you honestly what it needs.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Exeter and serve the surrounding South Huron and Middlesex communities, including Hensall, Lucan, Ailsa Craig, Zurich, Goderich, Clinton, Seaforth, Bayfield, Grand Bend, and Parkhill. If you are unsure whether we cover your address, call us and we will confirm.
Are you still the same Bilcke Electric from Exeter?
Yes. The Bilcke Electric name, the Exeter location, and the licensed crews continue under the Jayden's Mechanical family. For customers who have called us for years, the same standard of work carries on, now backed by a wider Southwestern Ontario group.
